About Sha'Nya (Rose)

I'm in high school and I know what it feels like to have a boring teacher who you just don't understand or can really follow their way of teaching. I like to make my way of learning actually fun while staying on topic and helping in the best way I can. Since I know what it's really like to have a boring class I will do my best to make it fun but also to help you get good grades.

I really do enjoy English and writing. I find it incredible that you can describe vivid feelings or pictures in a few words. I also love kids and other people. I find making friends and being able to help them with a subject I love so much is an achievement in my life instead of sitting in my room watching Youtube all day.

I don't have any real experience except for helping other classmates and other kids get good grades from writing essays and analysing texts easily. I used to write essays for people and now I'm looking more towards helping people to find their own way of writing instead of doing it for them.

I'm currently enrolled in High school and I'm a junior hoping to help some other students. English is my strong point and I absolutely love to write essays or read poems and books.

About the lesson

Getting to know the student first and learning their way of learning so I can try and match my teaching to fit the students standards. I get along with a lot of students because I'm very patient and like to make jokes but stay on topic at the same time.

Mostly high school and middle school students but I'd love to also work with elementary school students.

I wouldn't call myself an expert as teaching but I do have some helpful advice. Find a teacher who you believe will help you learn the best. I know in my school I don't like how some of my teachers teach and it's hard to follow them sometimes. Thoroughly read the biography of a person to know if you'll get a connection with said person before you spend your money.

I used to be in color guard for my school and we would go compete in many competitions against other schools. I recently quit to focus on my grades and to get a job but I miss the fun times I had with my team.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
If the student is having troubles learning or following the way the teacher teaches they may need to think over if the person teaching them is the right choice. Relevancy is an important aspect to stick to as well. I believe staying on topic and asking questions relevant to the task always comes first. Some jokes may be thrown around a few times but to stay relevant is key for good grades.
