About Kent

ENGLISH, FIRST-LANGUAGE STUDENTS ONLY. l will assist school drop-outs to read at the 8th grade level (or above) so that they qualify to take their 1) GED or 2) apply for the US Citizenship test. Prefer to meet students in neutral space, i.e. libraries, community centers. SPECIAL COVID NOTE: I have ALL the Covid vaccine shots, including TWO booster shots. I am in good health. I ask that you be vaccinated, too.

First find out student goals. Assess level of proficiency at current time. Measure time student has/wants to commit. Build a teaching plan. Create calendar of sessions. Begin to learn!
