About Christine
I am passionate about teaching or advancing others with the English language, enough to make them thrive to the best of their ability. I'm patient and compassionate. I currently sustain a 4.0 GPA in Junior High.

I am new to tutoring! But I have experience in helping family & friends learn English (as native Spanish or French speakers)
I have taken English as a subject for 16 years, and I've always had high grades. My GPA as of right now remains a 4.0. I am very experienced in the English language & helping others with what they don't know/understand.

For English/Reading specifically, I will definitely be patient and start with the basics & collect from what they already know. Then advance to what they don't know, and do that at whatever speed they are most comfortable.
Adults, such as family, learning the English language - and of course friends who had little knowledge. Also, grammar, and younger kids who needed assistance reading.
Work with someone who goes at the pace you feel OK at! Never be afraid to ask questions, we are here to help you and push you to do your best. English is a difficult language to learn, but you can do anything - with determination.
A friend I recently tutored read a chapter book without needing any clarification! She has also mastered her English grammar and is now withstanding an excellent GPA.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should think through what types of answers they would like from the teacher. Are they asking for the teacher to lead them to the answer? Clarification on directions or certain steps to take? Or do they need a review of the topic? Have they put in the effort?
