About Ann mariya
I have Masters in English with excellent subject knowledge and communication skills and the ability to introduce innovative teaching methods to classes of different levels. I am a passionate educator who is dedicated to the delivery of a high quality educational experience to all students.
Research $ Publications:
Published an article titled “Understanding Disability: A Study of Sharon Draper’s Out Of My Mind” in IRA- International Journal of Education & Multidisciplinary Studies. ISSN 2455-2526; Vol.11, Issue 02 (May, 2018).
➢ Presented a paper titled “When Children ‘Wonder’: Understanding Disability Through Children’s Literature” at the one day National Level Seminar on ‘Reading Popular Literature’ organised by the Department of English, Jyoti Nivas College Banglore on 17th February 2018.
Workshops and courses attended:
Successfully completed 10 days Counselling skills training course conducted at Pope John Paul II Institute of Counselling & psychotherapy, on May 13th to 22nd, 2019.
➢ Participated in the State Level Workshop on Student Centric Approaches to Teaching-Learning on 22 September 2018, Organized by School of Education, Christ University Bangalore.
➢ Participated in one day Workshop on Movies and Meanings on 28 Jan 2017, organized by St. Joseph’s Evening College, Bangalore.
➢ Participated in Theatre workshop organised by Post Graduate Centre, Jyoti Nivas College.
➢ Successfully completed 12 days of English Course for Graduates in April 2015 organised by Fr. Mulackal SJ at Santigram, Kochi.
