About Amanda
Hello! My names Amanda Minton and I am a NYS certified teacher for childhood education; General ed./special ed. grades 1-6 with a B-2 extension as well. I have worked with children for many years and love watching them learn and grow.
I believe every student has the capability to be successful, it’s just a matter of differentiating the material to fit their particular needs.
My strong area is English Language Arts & Social studies. I do, however, tutor all subject areas.

Work that currently relates for this job is I am a pre-k teacher at Parsons Preschool in Queens Village, NY. I have a Dual masters degree in Early chidlhood education, general ed and special ed. I love what I do and any child that needs help, should receive it.

I then ask them how they typically learn, for example, when their is a visual given or when the teacher disucsses the written notes on the powerpoint. This helps me break down how best to present the review information to the student.
