About Maycee
I am a certified early childhood educator and love helping children reach their highest potential. I love the "aha" and the light bulb momments. When children reach the point where they believe in themselves and realize they CAN do it, that is what my heart glows. I want to help your child have fun while learning!
I have always had a passion for children and helping them learn and grow in all areas of life, not just academically. I went to school to be a teacher and realized that I personally enjoy the 1 on 1 and small group instruction the most, which is why I have chosen to pursue a career as a nanny and tutor.
I am a certified early childhood educator and currently serve two families as a nanny!

I have worked with kindergarten and first graders as well as students with Autisim and ADHD.
Be open and honest. Find a tutor that fits your needs. Everyone is different and has a personality of their own. To learn the best, you need to be taught by someone who adapts to your personal learning needs. If it takes a couple tutors to figure out who you learn best with and how you learn best, that is okay. Just be completely honest with your tutor and if you have any concerns or words of affirmation, please share them. We want to help you the best we can. It is a two way street and we are a team!
