Deliver a patient easy to follow approach to learning.

I love it when I see the spark of understanding after working a problem.

I started teaching CAD/CAM in the early days of desktop computing. I have since expanded into other areas of training. I approach my subjects in a very straight forward way: what is the goal, what is the time frame, what is the best way to work throgh the material and how do we work together towards success.

I have been in the business world for many years, including owing a manufacturing business. I understand the value of maximizing availalable time and resources.

If you choose to work with me we will be focused on what needs to be done for you to be successful.

About the lesson

I like to be prepared for our time together. The best way is to have questions and issues sent to me prior to our meeting. Doing so will give me a chance to prep material ahead of time and give you a productive experience.

One of the best ways to be successful with a tutor is to help me prepare. Before we meet send me an email with, in broad strokes, what you are looking to achieve. Every week we will take a bite out of that goal and get you to where you need to be.

I recently worked with a company whos employees needed to learn a graphics program. First question is do you own a PC and do you access the internet? All answered yes to the question. One person was having more trouble getting the software than I thought possible. I took the person aside and asked the question again. The answer, the computer belongs to my spouse. It took a little longer, but we got it done.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Questions to consider are:

1. What are the issues holding me back from success.

2. How can we taylor the work to minimize extra time and work to my curriculum.

3. Specify, honestly, how much time you can dedicate to the subject. It does neither of us any good if you get overloaded.
