About Isaac

A strong command of the English language is key to success in any field of work or pleasure. The ability to convey your message clearly demands a level of respect from those you work with, and creates stronger relationships with those around you.

I grew up with an English teacher as a mom and cannot remember a time when my grammar, my writing, or my communciation skills were not under the micriscope, were not being critiqued, or, occasionally praised. This appreciation for our language and the immense nuance and beauty that is stored within it, drives my work to pass on that strong command to those in the earlier learning stages of the English subject.

I feel confident that I can take each student, each extremely varied in their understanding and grasp of the subject, and cater to their needs to make sure that they receive the greatest value from my time spent with them. I will work tirelessly in the time that I have with them to make sure that they grow at their own pace as they seek to achieve the goals set for them by their parents, school, and themselves.

A love of reading and writing started my deep relationship with English, and has allowed me to excell in all of my writing and reading related coursework through High School and University, achieving the highest grades in all of the related classes.

I write frequently when I have time away from college and work and feel very strongly about making sure that everyone who needs or wants it, can have access to someone who is both willing and passionate about mastery of English.

About the lesson

Proper tutoring must first start with an assessment of the students current relationship with the subject. How comfortable do they feel writing, reading, or comprehending vocab?

It will be then important to work on the material assigned to them to make sure that they not only understand it and can complete it, but that they feel as if it were last year's material.

Integrating aspects of their lives that they enjoy into the subject being studied will allow me and the student to grow their command of the subject as well as developing an understanding of the importance of the subject in whatever field they choose to pursue.
