About Jasmine
I can help any student feel more confident by listening attentively to their needs and helping them through challenging (but entertaining) educational practice. The key is patience and developing a learning environment that works for the individual, for we are all our own person and, as such, have our own needs.
I will graudate in May of 2021 with a degree in English with minors in Dramatic Arts and Global Studies.
I have a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
I have been a substitute teacher for a university course in performance poetry. I worked as a mentor with freshman, meeting on a weekly basis for tutoring and guidance with adjusting to campus life. I worked as a mentor to younger students in an arts apprenticeship in my hometown.

English
I like to spend the first lesson getting to know a student, their likes and dislikes, if they are aware of their own learning preferences, their level of skill in the language, those sorts of things.
Then we begin with a short lesson at the appropriate level and a small assignment, these will also help me asses how to formulate an overview lesson plan that I then follow for the duration of my work with the student.
