About Kylie

Books are my absolute love in life! If I could, I would live inside of a library. Though I am not looking to pursue a career in English, I have done well in all of the courses I have taken pertaining to this subject. Assisting others in what can often be a challenging part of school would be great for me. I am always looking to help people in getting over academic obstacles that seem intimidating at first but are no problem when working with another.

My main goal in life is to be as helpful as possible to those around me. I know that one cannot move through life easily without a lending hand here and there, and I would like to give to those in need of such a service. I would not be where I am now without the people who have influenced and assisted me in the past and who still continue to help me to this day. One kind act can extend a long way for a person, and that is something that resides in my heart.

Currently, I attend Wingate University as a biology student, but I have taken different courses pertaining to English like Creative Writing, English, and different literature classes.

About the lesson

I prefer if a new student would let me know which specific areas of English are a struggle for them before putting together some assignments that we could work through together. I always want to make sure that we are on the same page, so they never feel like they are getting left behind.

I have not been an official tutor before, but I have assisted friends and classmates in material that can be quite confusing. This does not always pertain to English itself, but I also find myself proofreading as well as helping others understand certain aspects of grammar and spelling.

I would recommend that they look for someone who is passionate about their area of expertise as well as being willing to tackle the material at a comfortable pace for them. Never let the teacher set the pace but rather allow the student to work at their own speed to fully comprehend what is being taught.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should look into what areas of the specific subject are most perplexing to them before briding into parts that seem confusing but are not necessarily failing points.
