About Cree

I live to write poetry and prose that flows like water on paper. Writing is a deep passion that has fueled my life since I was 5 years old and began my first journal. Creating stories or putting together words in a beautiful, thoughtful manner is what I most love to do.

Education:

University of Colorado @ Boulder ~ English, Creative Writing.

I first began teaching over a decade ago while nannying for 2 children whom I also taught English and writing to.

I graduated college with a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing in 2013 and have won a few poetry contests since then.

About the lesson

I am patient with all my students and enjoy simply telling stories to begin ~ this loosens us both up and gets our minds working creatively.
Then, we can dive into the writing process in a way that isn't pressured or forced, but that flows naturally.

I have worked with students who aren't too inspired by writing and those who are motivated but unsure how to harness writing in order to begin. All students are welcome.
