About Tutan

My name is Tutan Das. I like traveling, have been to many places in India as international tour and would like to see more of this world. Currently live in Sylhet, a beautiful green city of Bangladesh, with my family. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures, languages and history. For the most part, I am a student of life, I love life and have a bucket list that I will one day fulfill!

I started my tutoring journey when I myself was a student of college. I have been a tutor of English language for the last couple of years. I have 7+ years experience of tutoring, one on one, in a face to face environment. I'm, specifically, experienced in teaching from the basic English to advance level language skills & communication skills development for freelancers whose first language isn’t English. I have helped many students to improve their conversational English skills and also have guided students, to get their desired band score or raise their score, on the IELTS exam.

My teaching style can best be described as interactive, supportive, and transparent. I demonstrate the topics & situation to my students. I encourage them to have a voice, ask questions when they come up, and participate actively in all conversations regardless of their level of confidence. I also deliver current speaking topics, along with writing correction. I also enjoy teaching by talking and discovering new topics together with my students and conversing like friends!

I am an ACCA part qualified accountant with 2 years’ of work experience. I have excellent IT skills in Excel and Word, and well developed problem solving skills.

Also, I worked for sveral Candian cmpanies with BPO under CRM process.

I've completed an English academic course and become IELTS certified to teach English as a foreign language. If you're willing to attempt for first time! or if you need to raise your scores! I'm here to help you with that.

About the lesson
