About Robert

I am an experienced tutor that will adjust to your learning needs. I focus on teaching a strong foundation and build up from there. I prioritize learning how to learn the material. I will guide the student towards the answer, but I won't just give them the answer, it helps them think critically about what is going on and why.

I have been tutoring since my freshman year of highschool in one way or another. I primarily focused on highschool level math tutoring but have a wide array of topics that I am adept in teaching. (Ex. Elementary school topics to CAD software)

I love the look on my students face when that concept that they've been stuck on finally makes sense. It makes it all worth it.

I am a current NC state student studying mechanical engineering. I have tutored students through school programs and helped others outside of school to great success. Usually a few letter grades higher! I have additional experience as a TA for a math 3 class.

About the lesson

I work through problems with the student to identify what topics they are having difficulty with and how they learn. I will tailor my teaching approach to how they learn and focus on setting a solid basis to move forward from. I will additionally how to approach learning the material.

I primarily worked with highschool math student. But have experience teaching middle and elementary school children in a wide variety of topics as well.

Look for a teacher who can teach you how to learn and adapts to your learning style.

Avoid structured programs, opt for services that address your individual needs.

Identify where the issue is as best you can. The more time I spend trying to figure out what you don't understand, the less time we have to fix it.
