About Tambrea
My passion is youth, education, and entertainment. I have been a Charity Director of Miss Socialite Initiatives for the past two years. It is a charity that I found in my hometown to give back to young women in the community of Dillon, SC. with a tutoring service that focuses on the english language. I studied public relations writing in college, published two articles, and authored a book for college students who are interested in internships.
As an elementary student in Dillon,SC, my favorite subject happened to be Language Arts and Creative Writing. Although my time spent in elementary was many moons ago, I still have my graduation merits for english on my wall. Also, all of my favorite teachers throughout school tend to be english teachers.
I am hopeful that I am able to build a great experience with you as your tutor.
During my experience in Americorps, I was tutor, mentor, and lesson planner in classrooms of At-risk youth in Newport News, Virginia.

My process for working with a new student is understanding their interests, struggles, and how I am able to help them. This would all be apart of the first meeting.
I have worked with students from ages 6-18.
My advice to any student is not be afraid to share your thoughts. Openess is very important when it comes to resolving any issue at hand.
