About Alexandra

As a tutor, I am most excited to work with children and offer extra support. I am currently a first grade teacher in the Chandler Unified School District. My degree is in Elementary Education and I am qualified to teach grades K-8. I love what I do and look forward to provide extra support for your kiddo!

I have been teaching for four years. I truly enjoy teaching and working with kids daily. It is amazing watching them grow throughout the year and helping them reach their goals. Teaching is the most rewarding job to have and I love what I do! I would love to work with children outside of my classroom and offer extra support where need be.

I began teaching right out of college. I always knew I wanted to work with children which, is why I pursued education.

I have a Bachelor in Elementary Education from Arizona State University. I taught fourth grade my first year and first grade the last 3 years.

About the lesson

When working with a new student I like to assess where they are in the area of need. From there, I am able to pinpoint their exact academic needs.

I have worked with many types of students through working at a daycare, different schools, and different ages. I have experience working with children younger than kindergarten - the upper elementary grades.
