About David
I have been a successful college professor teaching Spanish and English as a Second Language for 20 years. I have taught at the University of San Diego, Weber State University, Washington State University and finally Gonzaga University. I hold a BA and MA from the University of Utah and I earned a PHD from the University of California, Irvine.
I started teaching courses online and have had success in helping all levels of students to learn, understand and communicate in Spanish and English. I have received numerous teaching awards and have been trained and certified to evaluate oral proficiency according to the ACTFL scale in both Spanish and English.
I offer all levels of personal, online-interactive classes from children to adults in Spanish and/or English.

When I work with a new student, I first try to understand and evaluate what the desired goals or objective are and whether they involve English or Spanish or both.
