About Oreofe

My goal is to help you effectively communicate your thoughts to your target audience. I offer Academic Editing Services which includes proofreading, editing, grammar/syntax correction, and rewriting to ensure coherence and clarity. I will proofread your essays & assignments; theses, proposals and dissertations; college & graduate school applications; presentations & speeches.

I also offer Technical Writing Services for technical documentation, instruction manuals, user guides, training manuals, websites & blog posts

Qualifications

Education - I have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, a minor in Communication and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). While in college, I was a Teaching Assistant for my communications class. I have a certificate in Digital Engagement. I am excellent at identifying missing details, grammar and punctuation errors in text. Experience - I have 2+ years experience working in the technology industry and writing and editing technical documentation such as proposals, playbooks, design documents, test plans and training documents. I currently volunteer as an editor for an NGO where I proofread the newsletters before they are sent out.

I help students improve their writing - from graduate school Statements of Purpose to resumes, cover letters, college papers, theses and PhD research proposals. I have also helped ESL students with rewriting as needed. I really enjoy the process of editing as it allows me to learn about topics across different fields. Tools - I have 10+ experience working with Microsoft Office products (Teams, Excel, Powerpoint, Word) and I am familiar with using the Track Changes feature to make suggested edits to a document. I am also familiar with Google Workspace products such as Docs, Sheets, Slides etc. Regardless of the medium your document is presented in, I can enhance the quality of your writing and I will enjoy doing so.

I enjoy seeing students achieve their goals - whether it is a better grade or getting into the schools of their dreams!
