About Kristina

I specialize in helping struggling readers and writers improve their literacy skills. I use leveled texts to help students move up in reading levels and focus on improving their fleuncy and comprehensiona as well. As an ESL teacher, I must differentiate my instruction to meet the needs of my diverse learners and have many years of experience tutoring in reading and writing.

I love working with children and helping them grow as readers and writers. It is amazing to see how much they can grow in a short period of time with the right interventions!

I come from a family of teachers, and always loved working with children. I have a passion for helping students learn and grow both acadmeically and socially.

I am a full-time ESL teacher in Bloomfield, NJ. I studied elementary education and English as my major in college. I also specialized in teaching English as a second language (ESL). I have been teaching for the past four years, and have experience tutoring for over 5 years.

About the lesson

I typically discuss what areas the student needs help in with the parents and set a plan into motion for what I will work on with each student. I like to use vareid resources to keep students motivated and engaged.

I service students in grade kindergarten-6th grade in English instruction. I also have experience tutoring students in grades 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 for reading, writing, and mathematics.
