About Samantha
I have been a Native-Speaking English Teacher for two years in Taiwan, but have recently moved back to the US. I have experience working with children ages 6-16. I understand what it's like to live in a country where you don't know the language, and I hope to help non-English speakers (and English speakers) better understand the language.
In summary, I have recently moved back to the United States. I have a TEFL certification, and two years of experience teaching children in Taiwan.
While I understand the importance of workbooks and reading, I also like to incorporate games into my work. It's the funnest way to begin learning a language, and it's very rewarding to watch students learning English with a smile on their face.

I'd like to take a moment to get to know the student, find out what their specific needs are, and go from there. If you prefer workbooks and homework, we can do that. If you want more conversation practice, we can do that. If you want to learn reading skills, I'd be happy to teach you.
Personally, I like to include Phonics, Reading, Writing, and Conversation into lessons. We can add or subtract as you see necessary.
