About Clara
I am an experienced educator with a passion for helping students excel in English, Math, and Phonics/Reading. Throughout my career, I have developed a comprehensive approach to teaching that fosters both academic growth and a love for learning. In English, I focus on creating a strong foundation in both written and spoken language. I guide students in developing their writing skills through structured lessons in grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary, while also encouraging creative expression. I have experience teaching various age groups, helping students analyze texts and develop critical thinking skills that are applicable across all subjects. My approach to teaching Math is both methodical and engaging. I emphasize building a solid understanding of basic concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. By breaking down challenging problems into smaller, manageable steps, I ensure that my students gain confidence and enjoy the process of solving mathematical equations.
