About Siga

Be able to have conversations in German and understand what you are being asked by learning German conversation skills.

I will help you be confident in your speaking abilities and express your needs by introducing you to the basics and then gradually scaling it up to the next level.

I have tutored other students when I was a student myself and I was able to sharpen my own business German skills through working for an German Automotive Company.

I love languages and helping others learn them. Because I am a native speaker, I have been able to improve students skills very quickly.

I am looking forward to having conversations with you in German. We can talk about your future career goals, school, travel, business or whatever topic comes to mind!

I really enjoy working with people from all different backgrounds. Seeing someone make progress because of my teachings brings me great joy!

Besides tutoring student in college, I have mentored and tutored many newbies at my job. Working in Automotive, communication with Germany is daily so I am very familiar with business vocabulary and ensuring that working teams are on the same page. Meaning requirements from my US colleagues are translated and cascaded to our colleagues in Germany. Global communications are a daily activity for me.

About the lesson

First I would like to spend time getting to know each other. Then, I like to focus on the students goals and expectations. Ones we have a good understanding of what the outcome of our sessions should be, I like to come up with a list of topics we are going to discuss.

Based on the information gathered during our first session or two, I will develop a plan that will get the student to it's personal goals. The plan will include discussion points and perhaps a little homework. I like to encourage students to pick topics that really interests them because this will make the conversation more interesting and exciting considering that the students may want to have a similar conversation in the future with friends/employer/parent etc.
