About Abigail

I am passionate about education and promoting STEM education among all grades and higher ed. I am also passionate in helping students get the help they need. Students learn differently, and I am willing to work with students to find a learning style that helps.

I have been tutoring for four years in various sciences as well as writing. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Forensic Science from Bay Path University. I also have experience in a research laboratory, so I can help with understanding labs and how to write laboratory reports.

I was approached by a professor to be a teaching assistant in their class. In this class, I helped students one-on-one and held study sessions outside of the class to further help them.

I have a Bachelor's of Science in Forensic Science from Bay Path University. I worked as a peer tutor for three years there and recently began doing freelance tutoring on TutorMe.

About the lesson

It is a good idea to have a short consultation where we go over your learning style, the courses you need help with, and the various subjects within that course. Also, if there are any assignments that you need help with, I will ask you to email it to me ahead of our tutoring session.

I have worked with middle school and college students.

Make sure you connect with a teacher or tutor that is willing to work with you. Every student has a different learning style, and so you will want to find someone who is flexible and can adapt to your needs.

A recent event that I am fond of is achieving my degree. I have met incredible people along the way, and it made that moment so much sweeter.

Ask yourself if they are a good fit if you have previously talked to them. Ask yourself what it is that you need help with. Narrow down certain elements that you need help with rather than giving a broad subject.

Details

My standard pricing is $15 per session. Each session will cover up to an hour of tutoring. If you are looking to have someone to proofread or edit a paper, my rate will start at $10 depending on the length of the paper.
