Degree in music from LSU. Graduate and former teacher of the esteemed Musicians Institute in Hollywood Ca. Over 20 years of live performance all over the world and studio recording.

I keep lessons fun and flexible to the student's wants and learning curve

Music was my first love and still is. I love music and I love my guitars. I enjoy playing a role in either someone finding music for the first time or in continuing their jorney.

After I graduated Musicians Institute I was hired to teach the "summer sessions" and have been teaching since, which was 1992

About the lesson

Depend on the student and their current level of experience. I can teach someone how to play if they have no experience or to shred or advance solo if they do. I do focus on fundamentals which is why I refer beginners to intermediate so I do not have to fix bad playing or practicing habits some advance students may have. I keep the lesson fun and upbeat.

All types. Beginners as young as 10 and as old as 63 and intermediate/advanced also of very varying ages and backgrounds

I would speak to them on the phone and be honest about your expectations and any concerns you may have. Also do not agree to any long term agreement. You need in my opinion at least 4-8 lessons to know if it is a good fit for both.
