About Hakan

I listen carefully to my students needs and desires of what they like and are into.

Also...I brake down in detail of how to study by using visualization techniques, muscle memory, breaking down a lesson in sections so learning is the most effective.

I have an education from Musicians Institute in Hollywood and have been teaching all styles and ages.

Hearing my students progress, learning new songs and building confidence and passion for music.

Students tell me that they can't wait to come back for the lessons each week and how much they appreciate my musical guidance.

I really enjoy seeing students use my various practicing techniques and how they progress when applying it.

I got started teaching in group with 4-5 students at music schools and private students.

I'm a graduate from Musicians Institute Hollywood and have a lot of training from well know guitar players in Sweden.

I've been teaching guitar throughout the last 10yrs.

I play booth acoustic and electric.

Styles include Blues, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Flamenco, tc.

About the lesson

First I would like to know what style(s) that you would like to learn on Guitar?

I prefer the student play something to make an initial determination of what current skill level is at.

I will then create lessons based on listening to my student playing guitar and speaking to them about their desires of what to learn and focus on.

If my student is a beginner then I will start with a introduction to guitar and develop a lesson plan as we progress

I've worked with all ages and all skill levels.

Make sure you find a teacher that you can connect with and that will help you build confidence and a passion for music.

I was teaching a student and after playing a song together they said "you make it so easy/fun to understand and learning guitar".

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How do they develop guitar lessons for me?

I took my first lesson 3 weeks ago. Hakan was very patient and explained fingering techniques and rhythms in an easy to understand format. Right away, what I played sounded cool. I've now had 2 more lessons and I'm already starting to play with confidence.
