All of our teachers have a deep passion for music and the arts. Most started as children learning their primary instrument, and reached professional success once graduating from college.

Our teachers hold a college degree, many with Masters, and have experienced success in music performance and teaching experience.

About the lesson

The student takes a first free trial lesson where he/she meets the teacher. Parents may sit in the lessons if they choose. The private lesson begins with the basics of note symbols, rythm, tempo, technique, and leads to full music reading and eventually public performance at one of our 4 recitals per year. We have many adult students, as well as children of all ages.

Children age 3 to Adults. Some have special needs, as well.

Look for the healthy balance of fun and learning. Learning a musical instrument is a journey that should be enjoyed along the way. Also, it is important to have an outlet for performance more than once or twice a year. It's simply not enough. Look for programs that do recitals 3 times a year.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What instrument are they passionate about, whether it's piano, voice, guitar, drums, violin, etc. Practicing is much easier if they are passionate about the instrument.
