About Elijah

I've been playing music and doing what I love for over ten years. I'd love to help you learn the wonder that is music. I have a wide range of styles, from classical to jazz, and can greatly assist you on your musical progression.

there's something about bringing understanding to music, that makes it more enjoyable. That's why I love teaching.

Probably just like ever other teacher, one day I was playing music when a friend ask me more about it. Loving music, I was more than happy to teach them anything they wanted to know. Eventually word spread around and I started doing it more

I graduated from San Jacinto College with my associates in musical composition. In addition to playing in local bands and jazz ensembles, I also enjoy composing small and large scale orchestrations. In addition, I have also been a sound technician for multiple venues.

About the lesson

When a student is just starting out. I feel the most important thing is having fun. So once we go through the basics, we typically will spend our time learning songs that the student enjoys. Once you get them started, all the technique and theory will fall in place along the way.

ive taught left handed people, people with physical handicaps, children, teens, adults, and the elderly. From just starting out to professional performer.

Make sure he is going to cater to where you are at in your studies, rather than pushing you along the same path. Also, always feel free to ask questions.

I was recently asked to participate in a water drive for charity. The experience was super rewarding, and with everyone's contribution we helped to donate over 200 gallons to the Houston food bank.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
what particular thing draws you to music. Is it the genre? The musical ability? Is it the fun of learning something new? Or is just to enjoy creating something never before heard. The more you can pinpoint what you want to do, the easier it can be taught.

the first lesson is always free, so you can check out my teaching style for yourself. After that, for in home lessons, it would be 30$ Per half hour. And 25$ per half hour at my studio.
