About Kyle

Since I picked up a guitar at the age of 8, I have enjoyed over 14 years of playing guitar. It has been my passion ever since, and I have made it my goal to share and guide my students through whatever path they choose with guitar.

As a graduate of Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Redlands School of Music, I am proficient in Classical Guitar education. Before going to the University of Redlands, I mainly focused on electric guitar styles such as rock and metal guitar as well as music theory.

My guitar lessons are focused and aimed to help you with what you want to learn about guitar. There is a vast world of knowledge and music to play and I want to ensure you are working on what you enjoy and are curious about! My specialties include classical, electric, and general guitar.

Throughout high school, I taught quite a few friends who were interested in guitar. It eventually grew into my own studio throughout college and I have continued to let it grow!

About the lesson

If you are a beginner, our first lesson will involve getting to know you and your goals as a guitar player. There are a few beginner procedures I explain, and after that, your lessons are custom on what you want to learn! If you don't know what you want to do, I can provide many different routes!

I have worked with students as young as 8 years old as well as up to the 50 year range!

My advice to a student looking to hire a teacher in my areas of expertise would be have fun with it! Find the things that you love and pursue them! Also..... PRACTICE! (;

I just recently completed my Bachelors in Classical Guitar Performance! I am extremely grateful for all that I have learned at the University of Redlands, and I have chosen to continue my education this following school year for my Masters in Classical Guitar Performance!
