About Robert

Seeing progress, inspiration, personality, musicality, determination, goals for growth, adaptation, and uniqueness. Thank you for doing business with me! I also have a bachelors in marketing so I can help with the marketing and promotion aspect of becoming an artist hopefully as well!

I truly love all aspects of art, including music, animation, acting, dance, and comedy. Music has been around for a long time and it exists for a reason. Music is beautiful to hear and perform and it gives us clarity and a sense of mindfulness when we hear it or sing it ourselves.

I have a four year bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing.

I have three other hobbies as well. I love to watch Marvel movies, play videogames( mainly Mario and Borderlands), and read comic books. I was also a runner and a swimmer in high school. I am adopted from Seoul South Korea!

College music classes including jazz band, concert band, chorale, and chamber singers. Solo and ensemble for piano and oboe. Marching band in high school. Blue lake fine arts camp for two summers. I have 20 years of piano experience, 8 in guitar , 8 in vocals, 8 in oboe, I have also sung for my entire life up to this point. I also know how to play ukulele, harmonica and mandolin. I write my own songs for piano, guitar, and ukulele. I love to teach and music has always been a great passion for who I am as a person. I hope to inspire and create that flame that starts to light that bulb in my students mind and drives them to pursue future musics endeavors and experiences.

About the lesson

Starting with the basics, working on easier songs, familiarity with music theory and rhythm, minor composition, working on ear training and timbre, gaining confidence and boosting morale through exercise and practice but not more than what's comfortable to any of my future students, working toward middle experience and level of proficiency and completing a journey of learning to where my students are able to work on the rest of their advancement in music on their own once I have planted that seed and peaked their confidence and inspiration as well as determination and goals.
