Teaching kids is a passion of mine. Four of my child students have gone on to become national and international acts.

I had a wonderful music teacher as a kid. She taught me violin at age 7, all the way through high school. I learned about patient practice and encouragement from her, and I use that style with my students.

I have an Honorary Doctorate in Early Music Education, and am Suzuki Certified (although I don't follow the method exactly).

About the lesson

I ask you want YOU want to learn. Then I break it down into bite-size chunks.

Kids as young as 3, and adults as old as 93. Everyone can learn to play music, at their own pace.

Ask perspective teachers if they can teach you to read music. If they can't, definitely move on to someone who can.

Watching my 2 child students Jaden Carlson and Rory Martinelli become national acts before their 16th birthday.
