I started taking guitar lessons with Peter about four years ago when I was a complete novice. I feel my skills in and love for guitar playing and music have advanced well beyond my initial expectations. Although my interest is focused on rock and roll lead guitar, Peter's comprehensive skills and knowledge in a wide range of styles (from classical and jazz to disco and heavy metal, and everything in between) helps him deliver additional value in every lesson. His formal education in music and music theory, real life stage and studio experience, and in depth knowledge of audio mixing, recording and synthesizing allows him to provide a comprehensive learning experience. From a personal standpoint, Peter is patient, reliable, intelligent, interesting and engaging. Every lesson is fun and I always look forward to the next one.

I have been studying classical guitar with Peter Green for a couple of years, and it has been great! I started with some very basic knowledge, but could not get past a plateau to really do much of anything. He got me grounded in basic technique and then started building from there. After a few months, I did a small concert (with some beginning pieces) for the family and my wife, taken by surprise, said I had a very good trainer.

He is clearly interested in students learning, understands how students learn, and is very patient. His musical knowledge and breadth is also quite impressive, and makes extremely interesting connections even between classical and contemporary (rock/fingerpicking/jazz/etc.) that keeps the lessons interesting , inspiring and something to keep looking forward to.
