Imani Hinson is a passionate advocate for education, dedicated to instilling a love for learning in her students. Currently serving as a high school teacher in Howard County, Maryland, she holds two degrees. Her first degree in social studies education and history was earned at Hofstra University, followed by a master's degree in history from Brooklyn College. Currently pursuing her EdD in educational leadership k-12 at Virginia Commonwealth University, Imani's research has centered around topics such as school desegregation, reparations, and African American history.

Imani is actively engaged in sharing her knowledge and ideas, participating as a speaker in various forums and producing written work, all of which can be found on her projects page. Recognizing the importance of equitable education, she established Faith Works Educational Consulting LLC, aiming to drive positive changes in the lives of minorities and low-income families in the communities she serves.
