About Phoenix

As the next school year comes up during the Covid 19 Pandemic, Highschool students will need all the help we can get. As a fellow student, I want to be able to help other students be able to pass their classes. I understand how it is like to need some extra help in a subject. It can be frustrating and scary when the grade book doesn't show what you were hoping for. I would like to be able to help students who may need extra help during quarantine!

Being able to help others achieve their goals! :)

I am a High School Senior in the Class of 2021. I have a 3.61 weighted GPA and have taken Honors and AP classes in English, History, and Science. My last AP testing for World History was a 4/5. I usually spend time helping my friends or classmates with classwork they might struggle with in hopes it will help them succeed.

About the lesson

The first day with the new student will be free. This leaves them time to consider if they want to be tutored and leaves room for introductions. I ask what their best way of learning is, what interests they have, and where they struggle in. I then tutor based on their answers and try to make it fun and engaging.

I can work through messenger and Instagram face times, as well as sending resources and citations

High school students are my strong suit because they are my peers. I can teach middle schoolers if they also need help.

This first lesson offered with Phoenix will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details

The first day of tutoring is free of charge.

After that, it is $10 a day.

You can pick any day of the week and any hours between 12 pm to 4 pm. However, I must be informed in advance just in case it may not work out.

If you want tutoring for only one day, payment is due the day of.

If you want tutoring throughout a week or a month, payment is due at the end of each week from Friday to Saturday.

If payment is not turned in on the day of or at the end of the week, I will not tutor the next session unless a financial concern is addressed.

If there are problems with payment, I totally understand and will extend the due dates! :)

Cash app and or mailing money are both fine.
