About Jeffrey

I believe that I have the responsibility to do more than to teach students a specific subject. My philosophy is all about motivating and inspiring students to learn and think independently. I encourage students to take advantage of resources beyond lectures, textbooks and course materials. I often assign projects that have students interact with resources in their local community. It is my belief that professors who have both a solid formal education and accomplished professional careers in the subject matter are well-respected and inspirational to their students. Teachers can and should be more than knowledgeable; they should be mentors and provide assistance beyond the instruction in the classroom.

My philosophy is all about motivating and inspiring students to learn and think independently. Anyone can teach facts, but a great teacher/tudor will excite a student learn! That is what I strive to do with each and every student!
