About David
As a recent college graduate, I have always had a strong passion for teaching and helping others. I find the best way to help others learn is through patience, understanding, and calm explanation. I understand both the perspective of the student and teacher having just graduated. I hold both a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from San Francisco State University where I graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude, Dean's List) as well as a Master of Arts degree in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco. While my strongest proficiencies lie in History (U.S., European, and Latin American), I also have knowledge in Geography, English, Research, and (Sports) Business. I have a strong understanding of public speaking, leadership, communication, as well as time management. (concealed information)
I enjoy teaching others about the joys of history without overemphasizing specific dates but rather sequences of key and critical events with fun and entertaining facts.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from San Francisco State University where I graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude, Dean's List). My main focuses during my undergraduate studies were U.S. History, European History, and Latin American History. I'll get to know what techniques work best with each specific student by talking with them. Also, I'll introduce them to ways of learning and studying that have helped me achieve successful results in the past.
My best advice would be to hire a tutor who is patient and has not only a understanding but also a passion for helping others learn about history.
