Brian (Second Hand Ranch) is exceptional at what he does. Not only can he be a great coach for an adult his ability to break techniques down for kids of all ages is pretty remarkable. We have twins; they’re 13 and one is a boy one is a girl completely different personality types. My son is a go-getter jumps right in both feet natural and Brian was able to provide the appropriate detailed instruction and encouragement for his learning style while simultaneously working with my daughter who is the opposite of what I just described about my son. She’s hesitant more cautious, less likely to jump in with both feet needs a different type of encouragement and patience. Brian met both kids where they were at and after just a couple of lessons with him, they were comfortable riding and loping. As an adult rider I felt his attention to detail and ability to observe and provide tangible feedback for quick adjustment’s was great, his demeanor is respectful and honorable. I highly recommend working with Brian.

Brian made my 2 youngsters feel confident and at ease, when riding on the horses. My sons, aged 2 and 5, were a little nervous at first, but with Brian’s patience and encouragement, they hopped up and had an absolutely joyful time learning the basics or horseback riding! They even got to feed the horses some treats afterwards, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Would highly recommend!
