About Lindsay
I am a certified Public school Latin teacher. I have taught all levels, including AP and IB. I have worked with many textbook series and am familiar with many assessments such as the National Latin Exam and ALIRA. I tutor only virtually.
I fell in love with Latin in 8th grade and became a Latin teacher straight out of college

About the lesson

We will work through google meet. In a first session, I have the student explain their goals and what they need and we start with that. Depending on what the student needs, we may work through school assignments with explanations to help or we may work on needed background skills separately from assignments. At the end of every session, I write up a google doc report and share it with the student and the parent.
I have worked with students who were struggling with Latin as well as those who wanted to hone skills for certain tests or levels, like AP
You need someone that is good at explaining things in multiple ways - I am very good at that.
you also needs someone with experience - I have taught for 16 years
you also need someone who will be honest with you in your strengths and weaknesses so that you can improve
I am fond of state and national Latin conventions
