About George
Hello there!
I’m George, and I graduated cum laude with a JD from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2026. Before that, I scored a 177 on the LSAT. As a result, I know what it takes to succeed in law school, ace exams, work efficiently, and perform under pressure. Additionally, as a former federal judicial intern, executive editor of the Northwestern University Law Review, and now, an incoming big law associate, I also know what it takes to navigate deadlines, manage a range of responsibilities, and make the most of new opportunities.
I tutor all first-year law school classes, including contracts, civil procedure, torts, property, constitutional law, criminal law, and legal writing, as well as elective courses including business associations, secured transactions, privacy law, intellectual property, and antitrust law. Whether you’re having trouble with once concept or the entire course, I’m here to help. I also am happy to guide students beyond the classroom as they navigate the ever-changing, all-important job search process, including interview preparation and general career development.
I’m not new to tutoring. Having worked as a private LSAT tutor before law school, I’ve taught numerous students effective test-taking strategies, including how best to manage time and approach different questions. From this experience, I know that everyone learns differently. That’s why I tailor my lessons to the unique needs of each student by developing individualized lesson plans. Together, we’ll craft a customized study plan that fits with your schedule as well as your specific strengths and weaknesses. During sessions, we’ll work through common fact patterns, learn general test-taking strategies, and practice frequently tested areas to minimize any surprises on test day.

First, I provide each new student with suggested resources and create an individualized study plan. We’ll develop a manageable schedule, set expectations, and identify learning styles that work best.
Then, we'll move on to general test-taking strategies, including effectively managing time, controlling anxiety, and staying focused while under pressure. After that, we’ll shift to working through specific fact patterns to solidify your understanding of core concepts and make sure you’re as prepared as possible on test day.
I've worked with both college students and college graduates.
Law school can be a complicated time in students’ lives. While top grades are essential, so is simultaneously managing the job search process. As someone who successfully navigated both, I’m here to help law students make the most of their legal education and set themselves up for a successful long-term career.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should identify how they learn most effectively. Are you a visual learner who learns best with graphics and charts? Do you prefer lecture-style lessons? Do you find that working through practice problems is best for you? Knowing how you learn will help you get the most out of each session and will pay dividends during exams.
