About Thomas
My name is Thomas Huey. I have an MA in Ethnic Conflict, PGD in International Relations and PHD in Political Science. I have taught A-LEVEL students of various cultural backgrounds and both male and female. My results and personal feedback have been positive. My teaching is geared towards A-Level students studying UK and US politics. I usually teach face-to-face from home. I use digital and hard-copy aids when teaching to maintain student interest. I make sure that my tutoring compliments what students learn in the school classroom to increase their overall knowledge base. I constantly involve students in the session by seeking feedback, confirmation and reflection upon points made. I also work with students to ensure any issues they are struggling with in class time are addressed. I believe in a collaborative rather than dictatorial teaching style.
