About Jessica

I’ve recently started branching out into helping tutor kids with mostly reading, writing and language but I also like teaching science (actually I love it bc I like sparking interests in young minds) , and also history (especially World War Two is a major topic for me).When I was a child my great grandmother raised me and read alot and every week we would go to the library and by third grade I was choosing three novels to read for the week. I truly thank her for sparking my interest in reading and writing and Making all aspects of the English language second nature to me. That ranges from punctuation, to spelling, story structure and a very strong vocabulary. In 3rd grade I was tested to find my reading level my results were 12+. Meaning I was basically reading at a college reading level and when I went to college I scored in the 96th percentile in English on my cpt test. So I know I have something to offer children and I’ve always loved kids and had an affinity for for mentally connecting on their level and helped many children with all sorts of problems from school to home problems with social services getting involved to even teenagers starting down the wrong path. I see a brilliance in young minds that can soak up anything like a sponge and I love teaching them about everything from amazing things people have done in history to a new discovery of a love of reading. They tend to see me as someone who mentally respects them and gives advice from true experience so they typically not only respect me but look up to me and I know how to make learning fun for kids. I’ve known for a long time my true passion would be to either work with animals or to help children either academically or socially or even with their behavior. I know I can change lives, make them enjoy learning and embrace it and think it’s cool or fun to learn. I’ve completely changed children’s view of themselves and the world they must navigate to make their dreams come true. I never had that kind of support as a kid once I lost my great grandmother who more so taught me a love for reading at a young age that I strongly believe helped me academically but I want to help children thrive and have the encouragement and confidence to live beautiful successful lives. And I guarantee your children will enjoy studying with me and expanding their minds. I even off the first session free to show you as parents just what I’m capable of doing for your children. I hope to hear back from you soon and we can work something out. Let’s give this generation the support and connection they need to be the next leaders of our world. Your children will thank you for loving them enough to give them this gift.
