Hi! I'm a paralegal and current law school applicant with years of experience as a college TA, who went from a 156 cold diagnostic to a 176. I know firsthand that the LSAT is entirely learnable and a 170+ score is achievable with effective preparation.

My own LSAT experience wasn't always smooth sailing. I plateaued for a long time, and even after I finally broke through and began scoring 179s and 180s on most of my practice exams, I STILL didn't hit my target score on the actual exam.

It took many different prep courses, some personal reflection, and a lot of time to gradually learn what question strategies clicked best for me, and how to manage my time and my test anxiety before I finally hit my target score.

It feels great knowing that I could not possibly get a score that will position me better for admissions and scholarship offers, I have done my personal best ( or at least close enough that a couple points wouldn't make any difference.) When I look back at how much frustration and struggle I went through- much of which was unnecessary, I just wasn't prepping right- I'm so happy to be able to spare my clients all that, and to help make things click for them so much faster. I get to re-live my own joy when we check their score, and they've hit or even exceeded their personal target and get that happy, relieved feeling that comes with knowing their future is set.

About the lesson

Some students already have a specific concept or skill they are looking for help with, but for a student who's still early in their LSAT prep or is unsure of their stengths and weaknesses, I will first have them do a full-length practice exam to establish a baseline and do a detailed analysis of the concepts they need the most work on.

We'll then hold a consultation to determine how much time the student has to prepare, what days and hours they are ready to commit to LSAT prep, and I'll put together a custom study plan. I'll advise the student on how to use practice tests and question sets most effectively (spoiler: simply doing the questions and then looking up the explanations for the ones you miss is NOT the fastest way to improve your score.)

The study plan will include a personalized combination of concept review, assignments, drills, and practice questions/exams that addresses the areas that the student can most quickly improve on and see a score increase.

I'll then continuously analyze the student's exam data to make any adjustments to their study plan that will maximize their scores.
