About Nicholas
Qualifications: 176 on the LSAT, 5 years of tutoring experience. I teach through Skype or Zoom. If you'd like to add me through Whatsapp at +54 9 (concealed information)
The LSAT is, for many, a daunting behemoth of a test, and will probably be the single most important test you'll have taken to date. A high LSAT score could mean the difference between acceptance into a good school vs an elite school, or the difference between graduating $150+ thousand dollars in debt or graduating debt free. The good news is, its a very learnable test, and I'm here to help.
The LSAT is a test of skills-- the skills that law school professors think that you will need to do well in law school. And because it is a test of skills, the LSAT should be learned in a manner that reflects other learning processes that require the application of skill under time constraints (think language learning, learning a sport, or learning how to play an instrument). For instance, if you want to get better at playing basketball, you don't simply play games every day and hope that you'll improve. Someone who takes the time to learn set plays, do shooting drills, dribbling drills, cardio and strength training, and play scrimmages will advance much more rapidly than someone who only tries to play full on games. When it comes to that big moment where the player puts it all together in a real game, they can use all of those individual skill sets in a creative way, depending on what the situation calls for both in terms of the time constraint and what options they have in the context of the game.
Studying for the LSAT is analogous to this, and thinking about the LSAT in this way is what helped me to reach a score of 176 after months of dedicated studying. There are a variety of skills to learn for the test, including basic formal logic, flaws, pattern recognition, diagramming and understanding the structure of reading comprehension passages. And I'll teach you ways of practicing and mastering each of those, so you can perform at your best level come exam day.
Materials are included in the cost of lessons.
176 LSAT score
Official Department Tutor, MTSU philosophy department. This included assisting students with formal logic and comprehension of difficult to grasp materials.
I also run a small-ish English teaching business out of Lima, Peru, which includes college prep work. I've got lots of experience lesson planning and guiding students through the learning process.

2. Analysis of timeline
3. Creation of personalized plan for improving each skillset, starting with the ones that need the work most. We'll tackle each skillset in lessons and you'll work on drills and materials outside of class to help you improve.
A high score is great in a tutor, but it is not everything. Or in logical terms, a high score might be necessary in an instructor, but that in itself is not sufficient to make the instructor good. Make sure they understand how to explain the test and can break it down in a way that develops skills through practice.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think through what your goal score is, what your timeline is, and be aware going into it that progress on the LSAT is not always linear. A big component of learning the LSAT is having patient with yourself.
