About Anut

Why us?

First, all of our tutors have had over three years of tutoring experience with countless students. We truly love helping other people succeed and progress through difficult subjects. Additionally, through our years of experience, we know how to work one-on-one and tailor the way we teach to the way you learn. Our tutoring has a personal touch, and we are dedicated to going the extra mile to make sure we provide that.

Second, all of us have excelled in the courses we teach. We are all 4.0 students who have taken all AP and IB classes in high school. Additionally, we are current 4.0 students in the Honors Programs at our Universities. All of us have scored a 1550+ on the SAT (99th percentile), a 35+ on the ACT (99th percentile), and a 521+ on the MCAT (98th percentile)

Third, we consider ourselves more than just someone you may video call twice or thrice a week for help. We always have our phones with us so you can message us on short notice for a session or ask for any quick pointers or problems you may need help with. We know how nice it is to have someone you can just text and get the help you need, so we want to provide that to you guys!

Fourth, we studied for all our tests and subjects ourselves, without using any of the courses that are available out there. We know how these tests and subjects works in, and know how to study for them. We can work with you to ensure you are doing what you need to get the scores you want.

On the first day of my senior year in high school, I saw a flyer on the wall that caught my eye. "Tutors Wanted" written in large font. I applied, got hired, and was assigned my first client. The rest is history.

We are all third-year University students in BS/MD Programs around the nation (guaranteed admission into Medical School). All of us have scored in the top 1 or 2% on standardized tests and maintain 4.0 GPAs. We study ourselves, without using courses, and are very knowledgable and exprienced in our subjects. Additionally, we have a combined 10 years of tutoring experience so we are very capable of tailoring our teaching to your learning.

About the lesson

First, we work with our students to create a game plan to go about studying. We tell them what they should be focusing on, how to spend their time studying, and what tips and tricks will help them succeed. We then move on to content or strategy help. This means the student can bring questions or work that they need help with and we can break the problems down, explain everything, and make sure the student understands how to do the problem themselves. Throughout, strategies and tips will be provided to ensure the student is working smarter, not just harder.

I have worked with students of all ages, from 12 to 40 years old. I have also worked with students with special needs and I am able to adjust the way I tutor accordingly.
