About Amanda

I am a current student who has always loved helping my peers as well as younger students!

As of right now I have a 4.6 gpa. I am well versed in almost all forms of math up to Pre Calculus.

Not only am I able to help with math, I am able to assist in other classes such as biology, chemistry, English, and history.

I enjoy helping people understand. It is the hardest thing to struggle with not knowing or understand a topic simply because it was not taught in a way that was comprehendable to an individual.

I have been helping my fellow classmates as well as friends who are grades under myself with their classes for as long as I can remember. I have always been the one they turn to when they are stuck, therefore I have been able to gain a lot of experience explaining and teaching new material as well creating a deeper understanding of previous knowledge.

About the lesson

I figure out where the student is being stumped and from there I attempt to find new and innovative ways to help them understand the topic.

I work with all students! Education is the backbone to society and everyone deserves to learn, even if they need a little extra help and explination.

Try out different people! You don't have to be stuck to one tutor, if they aren't able to help you in a way that makes sense for your learning style it is okay to go try someone else! Everyone learns differently and that is perfectly fine.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should come to their teachers either knowing a specific topic and lesson they are struggling with or a general area where they need help. If they student is too young to do that, have the parent explain what they already know and understand so that they are able to advance with new knowledge and not review old knowledge.
