About Samuel

I am Samuel Chang and I have been tutoring for 3 years to date. I am only 15 years old, but have already accomplished all requirements towards a high-school diploma. I am going to attend the Gatton Academy for Mathematics and Science in Kentucky next year, a 2 year advanced college-prep program for high-level high schoolers. I love tutoring as it helps me learn even more about each subject and I LOVE learning! It is my passion for learning new things that drives me forward every day to study and listen closely in classes. I will do everything I can to help students achieve their goals because I know that achieving goals can sometimes be hard, but if you work hard at it with some help, it will come! I am in Bowling Green, KY and I am expecting a B.S. in Mathematical Economics from WKU by 2021. I was ranked 1/305 in my class at Bowling Green High School and I have an ACT of 36/36, a SAT of 1550/1600, and a PSAT of 1490/1520. I have been doing test prep tutoring since 8th grade and I have always loved it because the tests all have a trick; all you have to do is figure it out! I have been in the SKY swimming club for 6 years and won many awards in clubs such as Academic Team (15th place at state in science) and MathCounts (8th place at state in individual assessment). I have taken 16 AP classes and tests to date including (known scores are listed in parentheses): biology (5), environmental science (4), english language (4), calculus BC (5, AB: 5), human geography (5), psychology, english literature, physics 1, music theory, chemistry, world history, u.s. history, macroeconomics, microeconomics, chinese language and culture, and statistics.
