About Eduardo

I engage the students at all levels of learning such as visual, audio, tactile through drama and animations. My teaching and tutoring style is to have fun while learning. Actually it’s more of a philosophy as I like to affectionately refer to my style as “edutainment”.

I enjoy students having "aha moments" of enlightenment

I became an HIV/ AIDS Educator back in 1996. Later I was the District Trainer for Transcontinental Lending (mortgages) until 2008. It was after this that I went into becoming an official teacher with the School District of Palm Beach County.

I am currently a Continuing Education Training Specialist and I have years of experience as a teacher with the school district of palm beach county.

About the lesson

student must feel comfortable and safe with me first. This process of creating a safe zone eliminates any barriers that could potentially interfere with learning.

I have worked with kids from K-12 but I prefer the middle schoolers!

Ask if the teacher is worth their weight in gold? See if the teacher is willing to provide a free 30 minute tutoring session? This is a good way to find out if there is good chemistry there for learning to take place.

In the COVID-19 era there are few events to attend. Virtually however, I was recently praised by my peers on a Personal Development Training that was optional for people to attend. I created and conducted a Training called “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” from the original author Stephen Covey. The feedback was from the survey was positive and heartfelt.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students and teachers should be open and candid about their nuances. For example I am big on manners such as “please” and “thank you” and perhaps it is because I am Colombian born but I do not find it disrespectful when a student asks me a personal question.
