About Lin Jing
I have rich experience working with students of various ages, spanning from the pre-k level to middle school students. I believe that all students are capable of learning and improving, as long as they are provided with efficient resources. Therefore, I involve myself in tutoring students so that I can help more students to overcome challenges, to improve, and to succeed. Learn with me, and we will solve all problems together.
I enjoy helping students who are struggling in a subject to improve, by explaining the problem to them, working through a problem together with them, and teaching them certain tactics. In the past, I have taught students in the areas of English, math, and coding. Regardless of the subject, I can help the student to succeed by going through the content of the subject and helping them.
I get started teaching four years ago at a Childcare Educational Center, which I was a volunteer tutor. After a few months, I realize that I really enjoy teaching and start to look for any opportunities that would allow me to teach more students. For the past few years, I have been continuously teaching various groups of students in pursuit of this goal.

Typically, I would first communicate to the student about what his or her goal for the tutoring and about the frequency of the tutoring sessions. Then I would form a personalized plan for the students, after further understanding the student's current knowledge and skills. After the initial preparation process, I would start to tutor the student.
I have worked with both with students who have struggled and succeed in courses. Based on the student's level, I would teach and interact with the students differently. And all students improve and learn as a result of the tutoring process.
I would advise the student to choose accordingly based on their current level, the goal they have for tutoring, and how much they can afford to pay in order to make an educated decision.
I am fond of teaching a group of third and fourth graders how to code during the spring. At the end of the course, the students also share the products they made using coding, which makes me really happy and glad for them.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The students should really ask themselves "what do I need help with" and "how much I want to learn during each tutoring session" before talking to the teachers.
