About Kelli

Hi, my name is Kelli and I have been teaching for over 25 years! I've taught all grades from Kdgn - 8th. Currently, I am a middle school math teacher in Penfield, NY. I am a graduate of Buffalo State College. While I am new to this website, I am not at all new to tutoring.

While I love classroom teaching, working one on one and with small groups is most rewarding to me. Seeing a student that has been struggling finally "get it" is the best feeling!

I knew from the time I was a child that I wanted to be a teacher. I can’t imagine doing anything else.

I have a degree in Elementary Education from Buffalo State College, and have been teaching for over 25 years. I currently teach math (grades 6-8), and have tutored students at all levels, from K-9th grade.

About the lesson

I'd like to see the student's current textbook and/or classwork to see where s/he is struggling. If given permission, I'd also like to contact the current teacher to get input as to what kind of practice the student needs most. And of course, input from the student and parents can help me determine where to begin.
