About Yahya
I am a college graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a double concentration in statistics and actuarial science. During my time in school I worked as a tutor and Teacher Assistant. I have ample experience in education and I will enhance your skills and confidence in any level of mathematics.
I am passionate about math. I have always loved it since Elementary school, I enjoy bringing other people into my passion and giving them the help they need so they don't have to be afraid or dread having to take a math class. I love when I see a student have a "a-ha" moment, and knowing that I got them there is the best feeling.
I started tutoring in Highschool for free. Once I got to college I charged for tutoring sessions and worked as a teacher's assistant where I created lesson plans, taught classes and graded assignments. I also worked with an organization where we conducted research and developed creative techniques to help students gain more confidence and appreciate for math.

She doesn’t use confusing terms and I really appreciate that
He passed! To say my child was struggling would be an understatement. I took him to tutoring centers, I tried finding tutorials online to help him myself and nothing was working. Yahya was able to connect with him and help him understand his work. Now I don’t have to even check his work at home, I know he can get it done on his own.
