About Kayleigh
Hello! My name is Kayleigh and I am a certified middle school teacher with concentrations in mathematics & science. I am also certified in all subjects Pre-K through grade 5.
I have experience working as a college tutoring and professor in mathematics, assisted in editing essays in my college’s English department, and currently work as a 7th grade math teacher.
I have a firm belief that all students can learn! Every student is different and for that reason needs a different style of teaching! That’s what I bring to the table. I get to know my students, how they learn best, and how they are most successful to help drive my tutoring/instruction!

When I first beginning working with a student my goal is to accomplish 3 things:
Determine the prior knowledge of the student in the area that our tutoring will focus on
Determine the learning style that best works for that student
Determine a plan/timeline with end goal in mind
I find it’s important to learn and develop these three key points in my first session with a student. This helps me create the most effective use of my students time!
