About Mohi

Hi

We are a private singly owned tutoring company. I am Mohi Syed, I have tutored at Mathnasium, C2education and also done private tutoring over a period of 6 yrs. Through the years I have realized the change which personal/private tutoring can bring to student's life nothing else like online tutoring or tutoring centers can match. I am currently tutoring Math, Physics AP to many students from Monta Vista High School. My approach is I start with teaching basic concepts for around 15 mins and after that I go over few model problems from the text book. Once I am done witha thorough explaining of conceots, then I ask the students to solve problems and guide them through the steps they are stuck at. This approach has help a lot of students in understanding questions, designing ways to solve them, showing proper steps and avoiding making mistakes while arriving at the final answer. I have good references from parents and their kids who are ready to vouch for me.

I have an MS in CSE. In addition I have vast experience doing private tutoring and also working with Elite Tutoring, C2EUCATION and various other firms.

About the lesson

I start with first getting information in advance regarding coursework to be covered. I plan in advance, prepare for the first 15 mins of introductory concepts for the class, in addition I also select problems of different models which I would explain to the student. Once I get an idea about student's understanding of concepts, I ask them to solve some problems similar to ones I have already covered to boost the confidence levels even further. This approach always helps the students to develop a confidence on the teacher and also the coursework.
